patches Posted June 11, 2022 Share #569 Posted June 11, 2022 As with Dan O'Herlihy casted as Marshal Michel Ney in the 1970 movie Waterloo in Post # 454, we found another one for the Napoleonic Era. An incredible likeness and a great bit of casting of General Pyotr_Bagration with Soviet Actor Giuli Chokhonelidze in the 1966-67 Soviet masterpiece, War and Peace. Not only do these two look a lot like each other, but both are Georgians, both born in Tbilisi, Bagration of course born there in 1765, Chokhonelidze in 1929.
