hardstripe Posted March 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 1, 2014 I had a good day at the 2014 Show-of-Shows yesterday. I have to say the best show I have ever been to. Lot's of stuff for everyone. I found several chevrons to add to my collection. Firstly, A nice set of unauthorized WWII Air Corps Chevrons that were sold by the Harry S. Wosk Army-Navy Store in San Diego. These new-old-stock chevrons had the price tags still on them. AND the seller, Donna Wosk, was the daughter of Harry. I had a nice talk with Donna. She said she will have a table at the ASMIC Show in San Diego in September. Secondly, a nice selection of Pre-WWII and WWII era chevrons with unusual embroidery or colors. I have branched into these types and a couple of these completed sets for me. There are a couple of CBI chevrons in the batch. Thirdly, a nice grouping of Vietnam era "beercan" metal pin-on chevrons. It was a great show for me, took me over six hours to view every table.
