doyler Posted February 26, 2014 Share #5 Posted February 26, 2014 Typical fuel oil latern.Still find them here as they were common in house hold and barns prior to electricity.I remember my grandparents still having them ready to use in the late 60s and eraly 70s when they would loose power on the farm during snow storms etc. Im sure they were used as well by the military but I not seeing it a issue or gov. contract item.The military did have the early Stonebridge folding lanterns as well.
