Hi,

I have never been to the SOS. Could someone give me just a rough estimate on how much something like a 101st D-Day veteran grouping would costs at the SOS? I am really just trying to get an idea as to how much it would cost to purchase a great grouping like that at a show. Don't really have too many shows or conventions like that where I am so any advice on where to purchase authentic pieces like these would be great.

Thank you.

82nd Airborne Division veteran of North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Holland, Korea, Vietnam. He landed behind Utah beach on D-Day in a glider with the 80th AAA and secured the town of Sainte Mere Eglise. He was awarded the bronze star for his heroism. He was WIA during Operation Market Garden. More info here:

Very nice and the history to match

I go through his home town a few times a year.

Yup, me too. Just south of my hometown of Fairmont MN.

Here is another. He was a member of the 501 Demolition Platoon and later G. Co. He jumped Normandy and Holland before fighting in the Bulge. Not sure why he had a post-war 501 DI. Probably from a reunion, but was in with the other items. I like the way that he buffed the jump wings so that they are somewhat smooth.

Can you make out the signatures on the flag?
