What do I have here? WWII Camo Jungle Pack

Perhaps the most famous usage of these packs was by the 11th Airborne in the liberation of Luzon in the Philippines 1945. There is a well known photo of them landing at Nasugbu Batangas, all with the camo jungle packs.

The USMC usage of these was very rare and should not be construed as a Marine issued item.

I've seen a good number of photos of Marines humping the 1942 O.D.#5 Jungle Packs, but have yet to see any photographic evidence of the camo J.P.s being used by Marines.

 

Wouldn't mind being proven wrong, but we'll see...
