matty Posted February 16, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2014 Picked up this Gerber mk 2. Said to be from a vet who was in Granada, Panama and Gulf war. Serial number places manufacture in 1981. Blade is engraved "William F. Felton" with a social security number. The social security number is from California. Can anyone with access to a soldier database help me with a possible owner for this knife. Matty

m1ashooter Posted February 16, 2014 Share #4 Posted February 16, 2014 Nice blade. I gave mine to a USAF SP Officer when he headed down range the day after Saddam invaded Kuwait. How much did it cost you?

Reeder3 Posted February 16, 2014 Share #6 Posted February 16, 2014 Gerber Mk2s are one of my favorite Knives! I'm a pre-1975 guy on them though.
tsellati Posted February 17, 2014 Share #7 Posted February 17, 2014 Nice knife . I would love to add one to my collection some day. I am curious about the handle. It appears to have a "homemade" camouflage mottling to it, or do my eyes deceive me? Or is it just natural wear to the factory original black coating?
