Siafu Posted February 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2014 I got these recently and was curious as to their value. One is marked "Gen Cut" and the other has a "C" with and "A" inside. Any idea as to the value? Any other info as to commonness or rarity would also be appreciated. Third Herd Posted February 13, 2014 Share #2 Posted February 13, 2014 They are for riot shotguns back during the Vietnam War, I don't know the current value.
bobgee Posted February 13, 2014 Share #3 Posted February 13, 2014 I believe they're for the Mod97 trench gun. Circa Viet Nam era. Smarter bayonet guys can confirm or deny! Bobgee
matty Posted February 13, 2014 Share #4 Posted February 13, 2014 They are correct. These were for the Mod 97 pump shotgun used in Vietnam. They are not common bayonets. I have seen them in the $ 150 to $300 range. Matty
matty Posted February 13, 2014 Share #5 Posted February 13, 2014 They were manufactured by General Cuttlery new in the 60's for the shotgun. Matty
matty Posted February 13, 2014 Share #6 Posted February 13, 2014 I forgot, they were also made in Canada under contract. Matty

matty Posted February 13, 2014 Share #8 Posted February 13, 2014 Looks like you have one of each. The Canadian one is rarer then the General Cuttlery one. Matty
