m1ashooter Posted February 13, 2014 Share #6 Posted February 13, 2014 Very nice. The flak vest has a lot of fluid stains on and but I like the nose art the best.

Blue Leader Posted February 13, 2014 Share #8 Posted February 13, 2014 Hi, Great Photo ! The B-24 on the rear is the "Sleepy Time Gal" of the 455th BG, 15th Air Force. The crew member is wearing a complete F-2 electrically heated flying suit with a white fur collar, a M-3 flak helmet,an A-14 oxygen mask, B-8 goggles, RAF Pattern 40 flying boots and a Wilkinson flak jacket. Beachmaster Posted February 13, 2014 Share #10 Posted February 13, 2014 Staining on the Flak Vest is likely to be gun oil from when the 50. cals would've been fired judging by the pattern its made, they had good armourers on that ship Anyone have any idea what the card label is sticking out from under the vest on his right shoulder ?
