It is the

VETERAN,

not the preacher,

who has

given us freedom of religion.

It is the

VETERAN,

not the reporter,

who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the

VETERAN,

not the poet,

who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the

VETERAN,& nbsp;

not the campus organizer,

who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the

VETERAN,

not the lawyer,

who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the

VETERAN,

not the politician,

Who has given us the right to vote.

ETERNAL

REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIG HT SHINE UPON

THEM.

I'd be

EXTREMELY proud if this email reached

as many as possible. We can be

VERY PROUD

of our young men and women in the service

no matter where they serve.

God

Bless them all!!!

Best regards,

Ricardo.

Ricardo,

This is a very nice tribute to US Veterans and I thank you for posting it. thumbsup.gif

My father-in-law is a Pearl Harbor survivor from the Heavy Cruiser New Orleans. We went to the final PHS reunion to be held in Hawaii a year ago last December 7th and there was a lady there who was giving little gift boxes to each veteran. She had traveled from the lower 48 to give each vet she could find a thank you gift that contained a hand written letter thanking these men for their service on December 7th 1941. My father-in-law was overwhelmed at the generosity of people in Hawaii who would walk up to him on the street and thank him for his service when they saw his PHS hat. Hawaiians remember the sacrifice of these veterans.

These WWII Veterans are leaving us rapidly and we need to say thank you now.
