101combatvet Posted May 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 18, 2008 Yes, I believe they were.... I have several Glider Pilot and Pilot wings that were made by Amcraft or just marked "sterling" and they have come in Veterans groupings.
Tonomachi Posted May 19, 2008 Share #3 Posted May 19, 2008 Hi, Were there any prong back glider rider badges made in the war or occupation period. Thanks, Steve When you say "prong back" I'm guessing that is another way of saying "clutch back". I have never come across a WW2 era US made prong back glider rider badge. I have come across two I believe German made occupation era prong back glider rider badges. One is marked 638 with an "A" (Assman) and the other is not marked but the plastic clutches have raised letters of "S" over "K".
