I know that "protocol" states not to have anything on the flag such as insignia or other items, but this is not disrespecting the flag, in this representation. A Gustaf B Posted February 22, 2014 Share #7 Posted February 22, 2014 That may well be, but in the photo, it appears that the flag is being used as a table cover, and there is much more than insignia on it, there are many who would find this disrespectfull. I often use an American flag in displays, but I always suspend it int he dorrect manner behind the artifacts with nothing on the flag.
