quack Posted January 29, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2014 I've had this patch in my collection since the late 1950s, and have never been able to identify it. Can any of you help? Thanks in advance.
vintageproductions Posted January 29, 2014 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2014 Don't hold me to it, but I believe it's a artillery unit out of the Korean War
quack Posted January 29, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted January 29, 2014 Well, that's a start--- closer to ID than I have ever gotten. Thanks. I did get it from a Korean War Vet, but it was not his unit.

firefighter Posted January 29, 2014 Share #5 Posted January 29, 2014 Lee-Jackson has one on his site.Is different than the one shown here.I think its one of ASMIC's most wanted patches. http://www.ljmilitaria.com/armygroundforcespatches/army_1950_to_early_vietnam_era.htm
vzemke Posted January 30, 2014 Share #6 Posted January 30, 2014 Yes, 92nd Armored Field Artillery Battalion. Korea, early 1950's. It also exists with the devil head on a quilted silk square with bullion trim. Both a pretty tough to find (but not listed in the "ASMIC Most Wanted" which doesn't mean they aren't very desirable/rare/hard to find/seldom seem/sexy/etc) -Vance

patches Posted July 24, 2016 Share #10 Posted July 24, 2016 Click on image for ENLARGED view And here it is on the sides of a SP vehicle, the M41 155mm self-propelled howitzer and steel helmets of it's crew circa 1953. As we see it's the White Square variant as shown by tredhed.
