Are these USMC or Fantasy ?

Take a look at the pictures below. I'm trying to figure out just what the heck these pouches are. They both have a USMC style belt hook. I don't see any markings. They have an internal divider.

 

Any ideas?

Im guessing early pouch for the vb grenade launcher used with the 03 rifle

Not sure what they are for. Question, I am not familiar with USMC gear but if it was used for the VB grenade launcher that would have been WW1 time frame? I don't recall having seen a strap with a C tip prior to WWII. Don't most/all the straps on WWI gear have square or solid oval ends?

 

Since they have what appears to be a USMC type hanger and two tone canvas, etc., like WWII, could they have housed a scope/sight?

Here's a VB launcher pouch side by side with the unknown USMC pouch.

And the unknown pouch next to a USMC pouch that is marked MCS-4 on the back. I'm confident that the MCS-4 pouch is communication gear related, I just don't know its exact application yet. That's for another thread.
