Allan H. Posted January 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 27, 2014 I picked this piece up at a local flea market for a couple of bucks, but was struck by how nicely made they are (were). This one is serial numbered in the quarter million range. I would love to be able to figure out who the original owner might have been. Does a number roster exist? There is a maker's mark that looks like the letter "W" between the third and fourth digit of the serial number. Perhaps it is the WHitehead and Houg Company? Hope you enjoy the pin as much as I do. cutiger83 Posted January 27, 2014 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2014 Allan, You are totally correct. That pin is beautiful! The detail in small items like this just amazes me. I don't know about the serial number. Sorry that I can't help. ..Kat
