I picked up this helmet and mask today. It is a Gentex HGU-68/P Tac Air helmet. My question is does anyone recognize the horse and rider on back of helmet? Also the mask is a Gentex number 60240. What branch used this what does the insigna on back of helmet indicate and does the mask match the helmet? Also thank you to all the members for your help.

Basically an MBU-14 Navy mask which is one type used with Navy flight helmets like this one. The design on the helmet is for VRC-40 "Rawhides". They fly C-2 greyhound cargo planes to help supply carriers. Now all you need is to get the correct communication cord and J bayonets for the mask and you'll have a nice display.

Nice ID on the squadron logo TLoe!!!!

It looks like it has the Aviators name on the side of the mask. I know that is how our pilots marked them when I was in.
