TreasureHunter Posted January 23, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 23, 2014 Visited the 8th Air Force Museum in Pooler, GA (Savannah), here is link to photobucket full of pictures. Info http://mightyeighth.org/ Failry large museum with lots to read about, mission movie & a few other movies to watch. Good displays of uniforms and gear used by 8th Air Force, plenty of knowledge and history of 8th AF, also a hands on gunner video game, Stalag flag signed by POW's, the surrender document signed by Macarthur & Nimitz etc. Diner inside and gift shop, also a library for research. TreasureHunter Posted January 23, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted January 23, 2014 So many museums and so little time. Seems they are all over the place just don't get advertised. Thanks for the Wasp info, I must have ended my long tour early and missed that part. Guess I have to go back and spend a few more hours there, oh the agony! Cant wait!
