REAL COOL Named north vietnamese pith helmet with Granade Pins Very Cool thrift Store Find!

A buddy of mine picked this helmet up this morning, brought it over to the house and i had to buy it, the helmet is named i was told he was 101st Airborne ? Never had a real one of these before!

This is a nice salty sun helmet that has a lot of really cool vet additions. Fairly uncommon to find. Is there a date in Vietnamese script on the brim or on the inside of the sweatband?

Usually for decoration.Common to see US guys use them on the boonies.I have seen the NVA/VC use them to attach foliage as well to camo the helmets up.
