One of my USMA Registers (I think 2000?) has a section of USMA graduates that are related to each other...there should be a lot of relationships there (my Register is packed in storage, unfortunately...)

RADM  Yates Stirling, Sr.  (1843-1929) and  RADM Yates Stirling, Jr.  (1872-1948), the second family in US Navy history to have father and son admirals concurrently living. During the time Stirling, Sr. commanded the Asiatic Fleet in 1904-1905, his flag was on the USS Wisconsin (BB-9) and his son, Yates, Jr. served as his flag lieutenant.  Stirling, Jr. commanded the Yangtze Patrol in 1927- 1929.  Yates Stirling III, who was born at Manila, the Philippines in 1904,  was a Navy Captain and Yates Stirling IV, I believe I read (but can't find the link now) was a Navy frogman for at least one manned space capsule recovery.

General Walton H. Walker and General Samuel S. Walker.  Both men attended VMI for one year before transferring to USMA.  General Sam Walker later returned to VMI as superintendent from 1981-1988.

Regarding the entry above about RADM Chester Nimitz and a Fleet Admiral Nimitz, I believe that they are the same person. Could not find any info that indicated that the WWII Chester Nimitz had a father who was an Admiral.

Would like to add RADM George Eugene Belknap and Reginald Rowan Belknap to the list.

Belknap, Reginald Rowan (navy.mil)

Would also like to add the Admirals Kidd
