That is awesome. I like to call my sunroof my Gunners Hatch, but restoring something like that for civilian use would just be awesome.

It would be a great project. Though looking down at the topp it looks like it has had the opening modified to put the rectangle opening in. I would think that the original opening would have been open to allow for 360 degree turning.

That's pretty neat. Would the M2 Browning have been mounted on that?

No, the MG was mounted on a ring that was supported above the cab roof. The opening in the roof allowed the co-driver to stand up through the roof into the gun ring and use the .50 for antiaircraft use. Interestingly the cabs aren't that rare, but the ring for the hard cab is very hard to find on the loose.
