walt323 Posted January 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2014 I picked these up not long ago from a local estate. The officer is James Bancker who was captured in North Africa. He was one of the POWs recorded in Oflag 64 and was also interviewed in a radio program about his POW experience.

walt323 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted January 7, 2014 Some of the recordings are online at the Oflag 64 web-site. They are a little different than the WOR records I have. WOR added some of thier own interviews and didn't use all of the Red Cross recordings. Rakkasan187 Posted January 7, 2014 Share #5 Posted January 7, 2014 Would be great to be able to have a manuscript of the Officer's interview.. Just in case the record breaks... Leigh
KASTAUFFER Posted January 7, 2014 Share #6 Posted January 7, 2014 Those are great! I doubt many have survived. You may have the only copy of the WOR recording. Kurt
