hawk3370 Posted December 31, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2013 This plaque was presented to me upon my departure from D Co, 101st AHB, 101st Airborne Division, in April 1972. The plaque consist of a hand carved eagle with brown shield on his chest with a beer can unit patch depicting a cobra gun ship with the name "HAWK' and underneath the cobra Co D, 101ABH. Two diving beer can cobra gunships on each side of the patch. The inscription reads Presented to Cpt Terry R, Morris "HAWK 33" , Mar 71 - April 72 Phu Bai, 1500 Combat Hours logged.
