TRR Posted December 28, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 28, 2013 Just wanted to share a few items I came across while going thru some boxes. LTC ( R ) Roberta L. Gleeson was an Army nurse. She is buried in Arlington. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=79225817 I believe this is all I have of hers related to her service as the estate sellers were so kind to make everything else disappear prior to the sale and I found these items buried in the house. I believe I have a few posters and prints that I bought there, but they are packed away. What I can tell you is she loved collecting sports cards and I mean love. If I had to give a count it would be well over a million cards in the estate. I spent 3 days going thru boxes and still didn't touch it all. cutiger83 Posted December 29, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 29, 2013 Very nice! I am glad you were able to get a few of the items. Is that some kind of a medical medallion? ...Kat
TRR Posted December 29, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted December 29, 2013 Thanks Kat! It looks like a cast brass medical symbol off a plaque.

ithaca37 Posted December 30, 2013 Share #7 Posted December 30, 2013 The piece is a representation of the US Army Health Services Command shoulder patch from what I can see. After 1994 it was redesignated US Army Medical Command.
