Stuart GI Posted May 10, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 10, 2008 I have had this ribbon for a while and it has stumped me. I don't remember how I acquired it. Does anyone know this ribbon? Mike
JBFloyd Posted May 10, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 10, 2008 Wisconsin National Guard. It could be for the King Medal (1929-1950) or the Write Medal (1950-1968), depending upon when it was awarded. Those medals used the same ribbon with different portraits on the pendant. They were awarded for perfect attrendance and long service. The KIng Medal came in bronze, silver and gold. The Write Medal was only in bronze.
