Bluebird class motor minesweeper USS PHOEBE (MSC-199) She spent her entire career overseas as Flagship of Mine Division 31, Mine Squadron 3,

7th Fleet in Sasebo, Japan. In service 1955 to 1975, she was a Veteran of Market Time operations from '65 to '69 Large Japanese made patch 5 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Another Market Time veteran with a short 9 year life with the USN - Japanese made 4 1/2"

 

Albatross class coastal minesweeper USS GANNET (MSC-290), also assigned to Mine Division 92 at Sasebo, Japan

She served in Southeast Asia from 1961 to 1970 when she was decommissioned and sold in Japan after several RVN tours.

The 2nd Pledge, her namesake (AM-277) was mined and sunk at Wonsan during the Korean War

USS PANDEMUS (ARL-18) Minecraft Tender - Achelous class landing craft repair ship in service 1945 to 1968

 

Pandemus recommissioned at Green Cove Springs, Florida, on 14 December 1951 with Lieutenant John H. Thomas in command. After fitting out at Merrill Stevens Shipyard at Jacksonville, Florida, she visited Norfolk, Virginia, on 23 January 1952 and arrived at her new home port, the U.S. Naval Minecraft Base at Charleston, South Carolina, on 30 March 1952 and began 16½ years of service supporting minesweeping operations along the United States East Coast from Newport, Rhode Island, to Key West, Florida, and in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
