JosephC Posted December 14, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2013 I was fortunate to purchase the following grouping through Wartimecollectibles. Andrew was most fair and great to deal with. I was able to purchase all except bronze star medal and papers. Included is Mr Stoudemayer's dog tags and medic armband (with Last Name Initial and last 4 digits of asn), patches, lots of photos and some papers and more. Also included is some field instruments in a german canvas pouch. I collect medic related militaria as a result of my wanting to learn more about my great uncles service as a medic in the 8th inf div. Further research and internet searching on Stoudemayer found that the grouping originally was even more expansive before sold by Wartimecollectibles. JosephC Posted December 14, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted December 14, 2013 patches are 45th div Thunderbirds and 103rd div. I read that many 45th div servicemen who had high point count for going home were transferred to the 103rd.
