ColdWarRules Posted December 10, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 10, 2013 Hi! This is my second USMC named good conduct medal. I haven't received it yet but I'm excited. The engraving says No. 70406, Frank W. Wright, 1922-1925 When I saw this I instantly researched the name on Ancestry. I think I did well. I really can't find anything on his first enlistment, the only thing that came up was a 1908-1912 Marine, I doubt it was him but it could of been. Then I got into the 1920's and I got really excited. Was a quartermaster Sgt in headquarters company, 3rd Brigade, Tientsin, China in 1928. Then in January of 1930 it says he was a quartermaster Sgt in Division One, Squadron 9 M, 1st Brigade USMC Station Port Au Prince, Haiti but was deployed to Nicaragua?
