SARGE Posted December 8, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 8, 2013 Quite right. My Father in Law is a Pearl Harbor survivor from the USS New Orleans heavy cruiser. He spent this day in 1941 shooting at Japanese airplanes from the communications bridge of the ship. He likes to say that he fought in WWII from the first day until the last. Wharfmaster Posted December 16, 2014 Share #6 Posted December 16, 2014 Had a cousin aboard Nevada on that fateful day and survived. His uniform resides in my collection. Wish he was still with us. Bless them all. We are so very proud. W
