KY_Wolverine Posted December 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 7, 2013 Picked this one up at an antique mall over the Thanksgiving weekend. Looks to be pre-war, but without a hallmark I'm wondering if it's theater made - late war or occupation. What are your thoughts? Here's the face. Reverse to follow. atb Posted December 7, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 7, 2013 "Looks to be pre-war..." That kind of leaves out it being late-war or occupation period, doesn't it? It looks like a pre- or wartime US-made DUI to me.
KurtA Posted December 7, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 7, 2013 It's common for pre WW2 screwback US-made DUI's to be unmarked. And, that's what this one is.
KY_Wolverine Posted December 7, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted December 7, 2013 Thank you. As far as my "looks to be pre-war", it's the observation of a noob so as such does not necessarily eliminate the possibility of the DUI being late-war or occupation. As I become more adept at identifying such nuances, I doubt I will make such seemingly contradictory claims. Thanks again.
