Here are two miniature medal groups in my collection. The first:

Is this a fairly normal combination or is there anyway to narrow down the recipient?

On the mini medals in post 139. I don't think I ever remember seeing a Philippine Order of Military merit medal.

A very nice mini medal set.

My first post and first miniature medal bar. I aquired it several years ago in Washington State. Unknown recipiant. One of the larger ones I've ever seen. Hard to find WW1 bars these days. Hope you enjoy.

What is the last one? The next to last is the Military Order of the World Wars. Also what is the green one next to the Armed Forces Reserve Medal? Mike

Captain Halsey Powell, USN. The DSM and British DSO were both for WWI. Powell died in 1939 so these minis must date prior.

WOW. I love the awards on that uniform, especially the French Order of the Black Star...The miniature ribbon rack is killer also!

What a great set of some very rare miniature medals. Are these in your collection. If so how long have you had them?

Question - what is the order of precedence with foreign awards? Is it alphabetical as in protocol, or is there some kind of ranking by level of award?

Great Question! Seems like English Medals are always in the front?
