cutiger83 Posted December 6, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2013 Here are three 20 year service pins. These are each about the size of a dime. The USMC button says it is for 20 year civlian service. The Army pin says "Department of the Army" at the bottom. If anyone has any other service pins, feel free to add them. USAFnav Posted December 6, 2013 Share #5 Posted December 6, 2013 Here are two more USAF service pins. On the left is one made by Antaya, pin back. On the right is one made by Coro, screw back. Again, one can use a jeweler's loupe to appreciate the craftsmanship on these. Pete

USAFnav Posted December 6, 2013 Share #7 Posted December 6, 2013 And the backs showing maker's marks. I'm not sure how common these buttons are by these particular makers. I know both makers must have made a lot of military insignia. Pete
hirsca Posted December 6, 2013 Share #8 Posted December 6, 2013 Iced in here in Dallas, so I have plenty of time for the Forum. Here is a dime sized 10 year Army pin by Wallace. I have many others from other branches of the government, but not military. Treasury Dept., Federal Housing Administration and the Federal Aviation Agency (not Administration). Also have several different ones from Veterans (of) World War 1, plus their Auxiliary, and the D.A.V.

cutiger83 Posted March 26, 2015 Author Share #17 Posted March 26, 2015 I found two more service pins. I really like the HLP pin. Have any of you ever seen one made by HLP? The thing I like most about collecting small items like this is that they have so much detail in such a small item. Plus I only paid $1.50 per pin so it fits right in my budget! firefighter Posted April 1, 2015 Share #19 Posted April 1, 2015 Nice looking pins. The one on the right is Air Force.I think they are for Civilian Service?
Edelweisse Posted August 14, 2015 Share #20 Posted August 14, 2015 The one (1) on the left is an "older" style Dept of the Army Civilian (DAC) Faithful service pin...the individual services that their own pins for civilian service.....then all the services (USN, USA, USAF, etc..) Civil Service Faithful service pins changed to the ones on the right. "Generic" style...but some of the services still issued their own until exhausted. I have 40+ yrs Civil Service working for the US Navy, US Army both Europe & CONUS, and Dept of Defense (DOD)....I have one for 10 yrs USAREUR...various others. When I was in Germany...I purchased a group of Civil Service pins which were awarded to the Local Nationals (German Nationals) that worked within USAREUR...and one has a ruby...I think that's 30 yrs or something....but I don't know. I do have my 40 yrs pin.

Edelweisse Posted August 23, 2015 Share #23 Posted August 23, 2015 Hi Folks: Here are pictures of some pins that I bought at a flea market in Germany in the Kaiserslautern area. Since I have worked in Germany for DOD for 15 yrs total...and I recognized these pins...I felt thet they were awarded to a German Local National (LN) that had worked for the US Army (USAREUR). I do not recall the number (#) of years service for the pin with a "Ruby"...40...45 yrs. I recall seeing pins with an emeral and diamond.....but again...I don't recall the years service
