RustyCanteen Posted December 6, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 6, 2013 Very nice. The variety of lapel buttons posted in the last week keeps me wanting to see more. RC
USAFnav Posted December 6, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 6, 2013 I agree RC! Kat what's the approximate size of this one and the medical buttons? Are they much smaller that collar insignia? I'll have an infantry button to post tomorrow. Pete
cutiger83 Posted December 6, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted December 6, 2013 Pete, I am sorry. I should have put something next to it to show the size. I am still learning about taking pictures. These are about the size of a dime. They are very small. I would love to see yours. Please add to this thread when you get a chance. ...Kat
USAFnav Posted December 6, 2013 Share #6 Posted December 6, 2013 Kat, Here's my infantry veteran piece. One-piece, button back, made of "pot metal," and looks like a Cracker Jack prize. I would guess it dates from the 1920s, as a veteran's piece???Pete
cutiger83 Posted December 6, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted December 6, 2013 That is a great example! It sure is small. I will take another picture of mine next to a dime. I think it might be about the same size. ...Kat
