world war I nerd Posted December 19, 2014 Share #35 Posted December 19, 2014 Discharge buttons in bronze for any soldier who was honorably discharged and in silver for all soldiers who were wounded or gassed in action. Sandwiched between the bronze and silver discharge buttons is a non-regulation discharge pin showing what I assume to be a point up discharge stripe. Another Red Cross pin and a curious Quartermaster Corps pin. Could the inverted triangle background shape represent an affiliation with the YMCA?
