Carabinieri Posted November 27, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2013 I purchased this some years ago from the estate of a WWII Marine Corps veteran. Pictured and described in the U.S. War Department Handbook on Japanese Military Forces. Basically a type 91 grenade with a fin assembly attached. The fin appears to have a small spot weld keeping it in place and will not come off. One fin bent with some paint missing. Grenade section has standard markings but no markings on fin section.
