Hi,

I have this Submarine Combat Patrol Badge which is marked STERLING, but no other markings. Would anyone know, based on the construction of the badge, which company may have made the pin? Thanks

Thought to be a Blackinton product. Interesting that yours has an incised sterling mark. Most are raised, if my memory serves me correctly.

I agree with Josh here,

The stamped sterling is different from what is normally seen however, the rest of the badge including the hardware appears to match.

Nice badge IMO.

Blackinton-made for retailers like Pasquale SF. The gutter is so the star studs won't snag. Occasionally you'll see one the sailor has customized by lowering the relief. Sometime back I posted pics of one on a Pasquale storecard, and a frame from an awards ceremony on deck showing a Petty Officer holding his up for the camera.
