I use at times Oil based enanmels and of late Acrylics ......................................

 

Just finished a Navy VB-89 and VBF-89 and am working on an 18th Fighter Sqd ,11th AAF and a P-40/sky/name type , awaiting a few others to come in ...........

Me too. I like the way you score (?) the leather to achieve a kind of "relief" effect on some of the patches.

yeah , I have a little tool that has a metal tine that has a small rounded head , it's great for getting them "scoring" of the design into the leather, best tool I ever found !

Awesome Job, What kind of primer do you use to prime the leather?

 

I use regular grey auto body-shop primer.
