WW2 aircraft kill mark decals

I am purchasing these as they are listed as ww2 aircraft kill marks, but I cannot find any photos of aircraft with these markings on them, only the rising suns and meatballs. Does anyone have any insight on these? More info would be great. Thanks guys.

Those are not "kill mark" decals. First of all, they are much too small and certainly not of a design seen before. More importantly, they are water transfers. How would the application of these decals to the side of an aircraft, exposed to all types of weather, be permanent? These look like a typical homefront item intended for the kids.

Based upon the backs and design, the decals are from the 1960s. The kind you could purchase for cars, motorcycles and model airplanes.
