fstop61 Posted November 18, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 18, 2013 Don't know what it is, but it sure looks like it may be upside down?????
gwb123 Posted November 19, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 19, 2013 It looks European, possibly a city or municipality shield.
Ronnie Posted November 19, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 19, 2013 It's a patch with a message.....you can lose your nuts in a tornado. See the acorns?....See the tornado's? I think it has something to do with the U.S. Weather Bureau. RD
mackeral Posted November 19, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted November 19, 2013 Thanks guys for your input. It probably is upside down because of the acorns but it seemed to me that the shield shape was more natural for a patch. The red and white reminds me of the spirals of an eastern European or Russian church. Could it be a school or college?

Sabrejet Posted November 19, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 19, 2013 In military terms the 87th ID is probably as close as you'll get!
1SG_1st_Cav Posted November 19, 2013 Share #8 Posted November 19, 2013 It is a unit patch for squirrels who are trained in weather watching! Danny
Teamski Posted November 20, 2013 Share #9 Posted November 20, 2013 Can we see the back? The construction reminds me exactly of the WWII 36th Engineer Brigade. -Ski

Teamski Posted November 20, 2013 Share #11 Posted November 20, 2013 Yeah, I would hang onto that one, whatever it is! It could very well be another Engineer unit. I like it! -Ski
