QED4 Posted November 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 17, 2013 I picked up this armband a couple of years ago not too far from Ft. Bragg and am not sure just who wore it. I am guessing the IHP stands for Iraqi Highway Patrol but may be way off base. But the main question is was it worn by US troops or was it strictly an Iraqi thing? It is made like a US armband. Any info about it would be appreciated.
shrapneldude Posted November 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 17, 2013 Just a shot in the dark on this, but from the look of it, I would say this is something only Iraqi police forces would've worn.
uberguido Posted November 17, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 17, 2013 agreed, absent of our flag I doubt the US would have worn it.
QED4 Posted November 19, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted November 19, 2013 I had not thought of it but the absents of a US flag dose seem significant. I would say you guys are right, not a US worn item. Thanks
