I would just like to say about the Zippo that the acid etched design is not Zippo factory made. More an "In Country" design,the colors are with very little wear but the lighter seems to have some heavy use.

 

So i would say the design has been recently painted.

I must be seeing things as the finish of the lighter shows the same use as the emblem.

I for one don't have a problem with this lighter, and I've been collecting Zippos since the early 1980's.

I don't wish to push a point. Just wishing to advise from what i see in the photo.

 

Some real Vietnam (era) Zippos have been showing up on ebay from vietnam based sellers in the past year with acid etched Zippo factory designs (mostly lifted from The Vietnam Zippo Cigarette Lighters, 1933-1975 by Jim Fiorella's book)
