Yes, it's legit WWII production. W. L. Dumas was a textile manufacturer in Miami, OK.

Costa, these Tommy Gun mag bags aren't that easy to come by these days. I've got a minty one myself by another maker which I posted on the forum some time ago. It was very well received by the gun guys who valued it quite highly (for a piece of web gear!) If you have the chance to buy this for what you consider to be a reasonable amount, grab it!

WOW- what a beauty!! Dated '43, OD #7 and mint condition :o

 

I know the maker has been clarified already, but I'll second it in saying that I have a few "Dumas" pieces...mostly T-Handle Shovel Covers.


Support our troops...abandoning the War on Terror is not an affordable luxury.

I'm so old, I still call W.W.II U.S. militaria "war surplus".
