Captain Frederick Braun Killed at Chancellorsville Photo Group

Picked this cool group up this weekend, the large photo is a full plate cdv of a Captain Frederick Braun who was killed at Chancellorsville, the framed tintype is sup[posted to be him without a beard, i have his glasses and his Infantry Book named to him. Figured id post to see what you guys think.

The glasses make it very special yet eerie....there is a physical connection to a man who gave his life so long ago and to be able to see his face as well.

Nice group! The large photo is referred to as an Albumen Print. If you don't already know, he was a Captain of Co C 58th New York Infantry.
