Delta1on1 Posted November 12, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 12, 2013 Over the weekend I made my way into an antique store. Looking around i found some officer's caps and a helmet sitting in an old crate. on closer examination i saw the crate was German and managed to buy it. After taking it home and removing the brown paint someone had so happily put on i found the original crate markings along with what appears to be an American soldiers name and ID as well as a painted battalion emblem and information. RustyCanteen Posted November 12, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 12, 2013 Great find!! It may have held his spoils of war in 1945. As someone who likes engineer stuff, I love the engineer castle! RC
