Im not sure , but I think it's post war. Judging from the color scheme. I'm not definite on that.

Difficult to see due to the newsprint but Ella Logan in the top photograph is wearing this 'postwar' US Army Hostess patch on her left shoulder

Also of note, the AFN Bremen Radio Announcers are wearing Correspondent patches.

Let's look a little closer at the African American Army Hostess in the Club, Bremen Enclave, 1946

Schwanewede, the focal point for colored troops in the Enclave, is an extremely remote, out-of-the-way place about five miles from Blumenthal.  The abundance of clubs and recreational facilities in Bremen or even Bremerhaven naturally couldn't nearly be equalled here, but the Schwanewede Service Club has filled a big gap and become extremely popular.

This Service Club boasts just about everything.  There are several ping pong tables, a large library, lots of easy chairs, a piano, phonograph, a snack bar with hamburgers and sandwichs, (sic) a theater, and a portable boxing ring.  Other activities include arts and crafts, quizzes, bingo, and many other favorite indoor sports.

Ah so they did make it overseas, wondering if they were sent out after V-E. Day, and if in Japan or say a large island in the Pacific where significant military personnel were stationed, and or the Philippines, after V-J Day???
