I wonder if this beret was worn by personel from the 2nd Bat / 12th reg when they were in Vietnam with the 25th ID or rather when they were with the 4th ID. Corporal Rowell and 1lt later Captain James Hill were assigned at the Pathfinder platoon at the same time period.
