"Blunt" tipped early Ka-Bar

I came to understand that not all red spacers are blunt tipped.I need more visual references.Set me straight if I'm wrong please.

THe first production runs as I understand had a more rounded tip.I have heard refferance in knife collectors circles that these were done in the first 6 months or less of production and more so seen on the Kabars with the upper red/black/red spacers under the pommels.Need a more overall shot of your knife to see what you have.

 

THis said you will see this shape on Robeson manufactured knives as well.Just picked up a USN marked Robeson that was part of a Corpsmans group that was split to the wind.It has the more rounded tip grind.

No it is not.

 

On the attached photo the blunt tip is on the top and the later standard configuration is on the bottom.
