Combat Diver Posted October 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2013 During OIF in Iraq for the years I was there we used numberous Polaris ATVs and John Deere Gators. The Gators are desiel powered, 24v system and has several other military features such as a rifle rack and sling load hardware. One of the Polaris in Astan. Mounted on the back rear is a Mk48 lightweight 7.62mm MG (think of a M249 SAW but in 7.62), 84mm Carl Gustav, 40mm M203 stand alone and demolitions. Big Al Posted October 25, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2013 I like that ATV. Too bad you cannot 'let go of the reigns' so to speak so you can shoot on the move.

Combat Diver Posted October 26, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted October 26, 2013 Looks like 42nd and 1st Cav ID patches. Thanks Linedoggie Here is another view of the rifle rack with a Bulgarian AKM (10 inside a oval), notice in the back laying down is a Iraqi Taburk DMR (semi auto long barreled AK with adjustable wind/elevation rear sight). Both pics of the gator is at my 100yd line of the 500yd KD range (notice the 15' high T walls) CD
