littlebuddy Posted October 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2013 I was watching this B2 Cap on Ebay the other day and was shocked by the price it fetched , is this the norm for these caps ??? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161124604532?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
History Man Posted October 20, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2013 I wouldn't think so....I have rarely seen them sell in that region, most that I see bring $200 or less. This one, I would guess went for that due to size and condition? Philip

Garandomatic Posted October 20, 2013 Share #7 Posted October 20, 2013 If a small size with some damage would go for a fraction of it, I'm gonna list that sucker tonight.
TRR Posted October 20, 2013 Share #8 Posted October 20, 2013 Not knowing the market for those, but sometimes things just fetch a higher than average price at auction. Think about how many times you see a common $2 patch sell for $10-15 with no other reason but 2 bidders kept clicking the bid button. Now when you seen something regularly selling higher, that is a change in the market.
doyler Posted October 20, 2013 Share #9 Posted October 20, 2013 Its ebay.......no ryme or reason.I have seen this done before. Most likely two bidders set a "hail mary" bid prior to the end of the auction and got caught in the end. This or the seller had a friend bid to see what the other bidders top mark was. With ebay its a fickle market.....tommorro you may find one there listed in the sporting good section for $5 bucks.Just saying........

strawberry 9 Posted October 21, 2013 Share #11 Posted October 21, 2013 They usually go for around $100 from what I see. I have a few so I wouldn't mind seeing them go for $300 each!
cmt04444 Posted October 23, 2013 Share #12 Posted October 23, 2013 I was lucky to pick one up at a flea market for $20 bucks this summer, I couldn't believe it. For some reason it had one of the hollow AAF collar insignia pinned on the front of the cap though.
Dumpster Diver Posted September 26, 2014 Share #13 Posted September 26, 2014 Does anyone have the photos of this hat they could post, the ebay site removed them from the original listing. Thanks.
