tbirdismypride Posted April 25, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2008 Hi Everyone, I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone happen to have a photo book from the 95th Fighter Squadron? I am trying to locate a photo of a 2nd Lt. Stuart Alan Munson. Here is what I have so far, Born Feb. 13,1923 Enlisted May 21,1942 in San Diego Ca. 2nd Lt. 82nd Fighter Group, 95th Fighter Squadron ( P-38 G Lightning) Shot down a Me 109 on March 30,1944 He was shot down and KIA on April 25,1944. I have the MACR on his shoot down which includes a eyewitness statement from a fellow pilot. I even found his gravesite and have a photo of his tombstone but I dont even know what the guy looked like!! I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks Again

ghost Posted July 20, 2008 Share #5 Posted July 20, 2008 Hello, Johnny is correct they do have a web site: http://www.82ndfightergroup.com/navigation.htm I don't know what happened but you used to be able to click the nav. buttons at the top and get to info for whatever squadron you are interested in, they don't work any more. All you can do is scroll down and see different links they do have a bunch of nice photos and most are id'd! Good luck, CB
