Walnut Stock Refinish

Flax Seed Oil works and gives your item that dark, rich, Military finish that does not shine( purchased it at GNC $22). I did attempt to boil the oil to release any impurities that may have been in the oil I purchased. It never boiled but did smoke. Do it outside if possible. In the past I did use regular linseed oil, but did not work any where close to Flax seed oil even though it came from the same tree. They are just processed differently and the Flax seed oil is the raw version and really works well. I think you will be pleased. I just wanted to pass it along. This may be old news to some of you.
