I bought these last summer. I thought they were just too cool to pass up. I don't know what I will ever do with them, but I assume they are relatively rare. thumbsup.gif

Just another odball device for the arctic life. w00t.gif Now all I have to do is figure out what type of chains or straps were used to hold the wheels down. Does anyone have pictures of these in use, or mabey a manual? Any help would be appreciated.

They were probably used to tow a howitzer behind a snow cat. Danny

I forwarded this link on to my colleague over at the Field Artillery Museum, Mr. Gordon Blaker. Gordon may have manuals for them. If not, I'm sure he'd love to see them!

Now that is a great find indeed, youve just got to get the Howitzer or M10 trailer to go in it now :D
