notinfringed Posted April 25, 2008 #1 Posted April 25, 2008 I bought these last summer. I thought they were just too cool to pass up. I don't know what I will ever do with them, but I assume they are relatively rare. Just another odball device for the arctic life. Now all I have to do is figure out what type of chains or straps were used to hold the wheels down. Does anyone have pictures of these in use, or mabey a manual? Any help would be appreciated. Levi
1SG_1st_Cav Posted April 11, 2013 #2 Posted April 11, 2013 They were probably used to tow a howitzer behind a snow cat. Danny
Cobrahistorian Posted April 12, 2013 #3 Posted April 12, 2013 Levi, I forwarded this link on to my colleague over at the Field Artillery Museum, Mr. Gordon Blaker. Gordon may have manuals for them. If not, I'm sure he'd love to see them! Jon
Cannoncocker155mm Posted September 12, 2013 #4 Posted September 12, 2013 Now that is a great find indeed, youve just got to get the Howitzer or M10 trailer to go in it now
